1. About these Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and FinTech Connector, Inc., 16 Horton Drive, Huntington Station, NY 11746 ("FinTech Connector", "we", "us"). They cover your use of members.fintechconnector.com (the "Platform") and our marketing site www.fintechconnector.com (together, the "Services").
By creating an account or using the Services, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services. The Services are for professional use, not personal or household use.

3. Your account
You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your login secure. Tell us at once at contact@fintechconnector.com if you think someone else has accessed your account.
4. Plans, payments, and cancellation

- We may change plan features or prices. We will give you at least 30 days' notice by email before a price change affects you.
5. Your profile and content
You keep ownership of everything you post, including your profile, headshot, pitch PDF (up to 40 MB), intro video (up to 100 MB), messages, and comments ("Your Content").
You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, reproduce, and distribute Your Content on and in connection with the Services. This includes showing it to other members and visitors as described below, and in Community Updates and our member communications. A public profile shows limited information and can be seen by anyone. Information, files and videos on your profile may be visible to other visitors or members depending on your profile settings, and media is hosted by our service providers. Do not upload anything you do not want shared. This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies that are shared with others or kept in backups for a reasonable time.
You promise that you have the right to post Your Content and that it is accurate and does not break the law or anyone else's rights. You are responsible for it. Other members' content is theirs, not ours, and we do not check or endorse it.
6. Community rules
Be professional. You must not:
- Post false, misleading, or fraudulent information, or pretend to be someone else.
- Break any law, including securities, anti-money-laundering, sanctions, and privacy laws. For example, do not use the Services to solicit investments in ways that need a license or registration you do not have.
- Harass, threaten, discriminate against, or abuse anyone.
- Send spam, bulk or unrequested promotions, or chain messages. Do not copy or scrape member data or use it for mass outreach.
- Post malicious code, or try to hack, overload, or bypass limits or security on the Services.
- Upload content you do not have rights to, or that is obscene, defamatory, or infringing.
- Use the Services to build a competing product or to resell access without our written consent.
We may review reported content and messages, and remove content or limit features when we think these rules are broken.
7. Messages, introductions, and member conduct
Members can message, follow, and search each other. Use these tools respectfully. If someone asks you to stop contacting them, stop. We do not guarantee that any member will reply, meet you, invest, or work with you. We are not a party to any conversation or deal between members.
8. No advice and no guarantees
FinTech Connector does not give investment, legal, tax, or financial advice. Nothing on the Services is an offer to buy or sell securities or a recommendation to do so. We are not a broker, dealer, investment adviser, or funding portal.
You are responsible for your own decisions, deals, and due diligence. Verify who you are dealing with and get your own professional advice. We do not guarantee introductions, funding, partnerships, or any outcome.
9. Our property
We and our licensors own the Services, including the design, software, name, logo, and our content (but not Your Content). You may use the Services for their intended purpose. You may not copy, resell, or exploit them commercially without our written consent. Feedback you give us may be used by us freely.
10. Third-party links and services
The Services may link to or work with third-party sites and tools, such as social login providers, Stripe, and the other providers named in our Privacy Policy. We do not control or endorse them and are not responsible for them. You use them at your own risk and under their terms.
11. Availability and changes
We work to keep the Services running but we do not promise they will always be available or error free. We may change, pause, or end features at any time.
12. Suspension and ending your account
You can close your account at any time by emailing contact@fintechconnector.com. We may suspend or end your account or remove content if you break these Terms, create risk or legal exposure for us or others, or if we are required to by law. Where reasonable, we will tell you why. Sections that by their nature should continue (such as 8, 9, and 14 to 17) will continue after your account ends.
13. Copyright and other IP complaints
If you believe content on the Services infringes your copyright or other rights, email contact@fintechconnector.com, or write to FinTech Connector, Inc., 16 Horton Drive, Huntington Station, NY 11746. Please include: what was infringed, where the content is, your contact details, a statement that you believe the use is not authorized, and a statement, under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner. We may remove content and end accounts of repeat infringers.
14. Disclaimers
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not promise that member profiles, content, or information are accurate, complete, or reliable.
15. Limit of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, deals, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Services or your dealings with other members. Our total liability to you for all claims is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or $100.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud. If you live somewhere with mandatory consumer or other rights, those rights are not affected.
16. Your responsibility to us
You agree to cover losses, claims, and reasonable legal costs that we suffer because of Your Content or your breach of these Terms or the law, to the extent the law allows.
17. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any dispute about these Terms or the Services will be brought only in the state or federal courts located in the State of New York, and you and we agree to those courts.
18. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. If a change is material, we will tell you by email or a notice on the Platform before it takes effect. If you keep using the Services after that date, you accept the new Terms. If you do not agree, close your account.
19. General
These Terms and the Privacy Policy are our whole agreement with you about the Services and replace earlier versions. If a part is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force. If we do not enforce a right, we have not given it up. You may not transfer your account or these Terms. We may transfer ours as part of a merger or sale.
