Seven years ago I started FinTech Connector as a meet-up group at a bar Hurley's by Morgan Stanley's corporate office to bring together financial services executives to connect with fintech entrepreneurs to help each other.
The executives and experts wanted to get involved and learn about fintech.
The entrepreneurs needed help finding partners, investors, and expertise.
Today, I continue to passionately bring together executives, experts, and entrepreneurs through our global, online platform that hosts over 4,600 members from 125 countries that are connecting, collaborating, and creating financial services innovation.
I want to thank all of our members that continue on this journey to connect the fintech world.
More importantly, I want to thank our investors, Premier members, and Pro members that are helping me financially to keep FinTech Connector going.
Without your support we wouldn't be where we are today!

Fintech Islands in Barbados was one of the best conferences I have attended. It was more than a conference; it was an experience.
We should put together a FinTech Connector delegation from around the world to support the fintech ecosystem in the Caribbean diaspora next year.
I want to give a shout-out to some of the members and entrepreneurs that I met in Barbados - Keeghan Patrick Pascale Elie Warren Kellman Jarryon Paul
We need to grow our network in this region but more importantly help the entrepreneurs building innovation in the Caribbean. I ask our members to invite their network of entrepreneurs in this region to join us.
Now, here are my top 10 takeaways from Fintech Islands:
1) The Caribbean is a hotbed for innovation
2) Banks are looking for ways to stay competitive with digital offerings
3) Financial education for the unbanked and underbanked is important
4) Digital-first / neo-banking solutions are on the rise
5) Getting more underbanked people to use digital-first services
