ARK Invest recently published their Big Ideas 2022 annual research report. The report covers a number of cutting-edge technologies outside of the fintech ecosystem. Nevertheless, there are a number of sections in the report on the following technologies that will have a huge impact in the finance world in the next 8 - 10 years.

Digital wallets (pg 30) - Upending traditional banking
Public Blockchains (pg 38) - Enabling a coordination revolution
Bitcoin (pg 44) - A monetary revolution
Ethereum & DEFI (pg 56) - A financial revolution
Web3 (pg66) - An internet revolution

The Fintech Almanac by FT Partners is a fantastic report. From highlights of what happened in the fintech financing space in 2021 to individual deal reviews.

154 pages of data and deals. A must read or at least review for fintech enthusiasts of the best year in fintech financing so far.
