This is absolutely one of the best conferences I have attended. Great content, speakers, people,and cultural activities.
Also, Barbados is a beautiful country and a hub for fintech innovation in the Caribbean.
A number of our members are attending - Viktoria Soltesz , Marcia Klingensmith , Jarryon Paul to name a few.
Still time to pack your bathing suit and jump on the plane to Fintech Islands.
I had the pleasure of meeting two FinTech Connector members last night for dinner, Fraser Morrison from Singapore and Simon Weifenbach from Switzerland.
The three of us have been working together for some time and have met on countless Zoom calls over the past six months. However, nothing beats having a face-to-face meeting for two hours over some delicious Cuban food. SIDE NOTE: It was Fraser's first time having Cuban food!
Fraser and now, together with Simon, are doing great things at 1000Steps: The Leader in High Performance Sales to help companies large and small to sell their products and services through effective lead generation, content creation and education, and coaching. They have clients around the world that they help grow into bigger companies.
It's about knowing, liking, and trusting the people you are doing business with.
They are all-stars in this space and have taught me a lot about how to approach business development for FinTech Connector.
I look forward to working with them as a client and partner to grow the fintech community in Singapore and Switzerland.
