Happy Friday everyone!
I've just joined FinTech Connector, so I wanted to say hi and introduce myself and my company, Melu to this amazing network.
I see lots of community updates here about AI, ChatGPT and chatbots, which is fantastic stuff. Not embracing these technologies certainly puts businesses behind others, so it's great to see so much going on in this space.
Conversely however, Melu provides human operated managed live chat. Don't get me wrong, I love AI and chatbots, but the fact is most people don't like talking to them when trying to buy services or do business. Having real people on a customer-facing website is an essential piece of the client aquisition journey, and that's where Melu helps. It removes the disconnect between something digital (website) and the people in the business.
As for me, I'm based in Oxford, England. I've got a background in web design and successfully ran and sold my web design business after 17 years. I created Melu with my wife, Kim in 2018.
