The latest report on FinTech Investment Landscape 2022 is in. Key learning outcomes are the following:

✳️In 2022 the global investment in FinTech dropped by 30% from 2021

✳️UK FinTech maintained global leadership, having attracted
$12.5 Bn of investments in 2022.

✳️On a global level, FinTech attracted $92 Bn in VC capital in 2022.

✳️VCs deployed $23.3 Bn into earlier stage global FinTech, compared to $31.5 Bn in 2021 and $50.5 Bn in the later stage, compared to $82.4 Bn in 2021.

✳️Seed rounds performed better than expected, netting $7.5 Bn in 2022, a large increase compared to the $5.8 Bn raised in 2021.

✳️In 2022 investment into female-driven FinTechs dropped
to $616 M across 39 deals, representing just 4.9% of total investments in UK FinTech.
